Hampton Painter is the Chief Financial Officer for CertusBank. Mr. Painter is a finance and banking veteran with over 30 years of experience. Mr. Painter has the responsibility for providing direction and oversight to the following areas: Finance, Treasury, Funds Management, and Investments. He is the former Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Plantation Financial Corporation, where he managed accounting, secondary marketing, regulatory reporting, portfolio management, loan and deposit pricing, budgeting, and financial reporting. Mr. Painter has also served as Senior Vice President and CFO for First Savers Bank; founding partner and Senior Vice President, CFO, Secretary/Treasurer of First Trust Group & First Trust Mortgage Corporation of the South; Senior Vice President and Investment Officer and Treasurer of The First Savings Bank, FSB. Additionally, Hampton served as a guest lecturer at Clemson University and is an active consultant to many financial institutions.
